En el presente trabajo se analizan las cosmovisiones de la comunidad Zenú como manifestaciones del pensamiento autóctono en la construcción de conocimiento. El pueblo Zenú cuenta con numerosos asentamientos, parcelidades y propietarios individuales en Córdoba, Sucre, Antioquia y Chocó. En el cual se distribuye la población Zenú, en donde los sabedores resaltan las diferentes manifestaciones que intentan preservar su identidad. Este fenómeno de conservación se evidencia como una acción reciente debido que, por datos de la organización nacional indígena, esta población antes de la colonización ya estaba en proceso de pérdida de su lengua nativa lo cual es un factor que distingue la aculturación temprana de dicha etnia. A partir de un diseño de investigación acción, se pretende comprender las configuraciones de identidad Zenú a través de la memoria cultural, como un proceso de trascendencia y preservación del indianismo, como también comprender las razones de su aculturación temprana, preservación y las luchas actuales en el mantener los simbolismos de sus antepasados.
