Actualmente, en lo que corresponde al \u00e1rea de la Psicolog\u00eda de el Campus Iztacala existen varios campos que se relacionan con la disciplina en los que se brinda asistencia a la comunidad, tales como el educativo, el cl\u00ednico, el social y la educaci\u00f3n especial. Estos campos cubren una gran proporci\u00f3n de la necesidad de servicio psicol\u00f3gico que demanda la sociedad. Sin embargo, durante el tiempo que tienen de funcionar, se ha encontrado que una proporci\u00f3n considerable de la demanda que no es atendida en el servicio que brinda la Licenciatura en Psicolog\u00eda, tiene que ver con la necesidad de suministrar informaci\u00f3n a las personas, que les permita tomar decisiones de manera m\u00e1s apropiada. Una manera de poder atender a ese sector de la sociedad es crear una unidad de evaluaci\u00f3n, aspecto que tradicionalmente se ha soslayado dentro de el Campus Iztacala, cuyo objetivo principal ser\u00eda proporcionar elementos de juicio a las personas que lo soliciten y que tienen tambi\u00e9n la necesidad de contar con informaci\u00f3n confiable y v\u00e1lida para tomar decisiones personales, educativas y terap\u00e9uticas. Estas decisiones conciernen a las personas, ya sea de manera individual o en grupo, siendo esto lo que se relaciona con la Evaluaci\u00f3n Psicol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n
